“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV
There was once a time I enjoyed spending time reading my Bible, I longed to learn more and slowly that all seemed to die out. Why? I got caught up with adulting. My schedule no longer looked the same and I was always tired. Can you relate?
I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing. I remember when I first discovered the joy of reading. I was in the 6th grade when I picked up a small book and began to read, the next thing I knew I had been transported to this other world, it was as if I was living the book. A snapped back to reality but never have I forgotten the feeling of traveling to a faraway place without even moving my body. It has since then been a wrap. I’ve been hooked on reading.
A couple of years later while in high school I took to writing in the back of the notebook. Small stories, poems, nothing big. It wasn’t until I took a creative writing class in college that I discovered that I not only loved reading stories it I enjoyed writing them too.
I started a blog while in college, nothing big, just mild rants that ran through my mind. I deleted it out of embarrassment but I’ve always dwelled on the possibility of having a successful blog. Fast forward a few years later and here we are. I have made the decision to start this blogging journey and I hope you will stick around for the ride.

Now the question is: why did I now decide to pursue blogging again? Here goes…
I started this blog because I want to commit myself to something I care about. Something I am passionate about. Something I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to share myself with other like-minded people, encourage them and grow together. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life working to make someone else millions.
Working a 9-5 most days, I just go through the motions. I wake up to the same routine, hustle through the bustle of busybodies in the city, slide into a crammed train during rush hour, stress about running late and lose focus of what’s important. I can honestly admit that a day can go by and I haven’t given God thanks for it, because I am too busy and that is not how I want to be.
I don’t want to be too busy for God, I don’t want to be so busy that I can’t even take time to enjoy the things I like because I’m living in a ticking clock.
I am creating this space to share my experiences, what I know and what I have learned. I am constantly looking for new ways to do things, new books to read, new apps to download (I also just love to say “There’s an App for that”) I want you to get to know me, to know my Savior and my faith. I intend for this blog to be a creative outlet for me and hope you enjoy reading it.
Christ didn’t save me so that I can just go through the motions in life. He saved me to bring glory to his name, and that is what I intend to do with this blog.
